Answers you can check: sourced, dated, and the free route first
Every fact we publish carries its source and the date we read it, the official free route comes first wherever a country runs one, and a fact linter in our build now stops a factual statement without a stored, dated source from reaching our country pages, our automatic emails and our connector's answers.

Why answers you can check?
A pension answer is only useful if you can check it. So every fact we publish carries its source and the date we read it. You can open the source, read it yourself and see how old our reading is.
The free official route comes first
Where a country runs an official free search or overview for a person's pensions, our country page shows it first, above any paid call to action. Every one of those rows is sourced: the institution's own page or the law, a verbatim quote and the date we read it. A check in our build fails when a country page shows a paid offer above its free route.
Our government pension portals directory lists the official pension records and portals country by country, each with the date we last verified it. Our free pension check shows which countries in your work history may hold a pension.
Deadlines and rule changes, dated
Every row in our deadline register has an official source, a verbatim quote and the date we read it. On /changes, the rule, deadline and form changes in the systems we cover are dated and sourced, from our fact-read records.
New in this release: a fact linter
A factual statement on a public page, such as a number with a unit or an age, a percentage, an amount, a date or deadline, or the name of an institution, must come from a stored row that carries a source and a read date. Our build now checks that.
It is enforced on our country pages, our automatic emails and our connector's answers: a new statement without a stored source fails the build. Older statements without one are listed one by one, and that list may only shrink. On the llms files and the other public pages, the linter reports for now.
When we get something wrong
Every body we report on has a public right of reply. Corrections are made within 48 hours, dated, and credited.
Start with the free route for your country, then use our free pension check.

Try the alternative first
AI can tell you what a pension is. It cannot tell you that you have one. It is genuinely good at explaining how a rule works, and if that is all you needed, you have saved yourself a fee.
Then ask it which scheme holds your money and who administers it today, and ask it for the source and the date it checked. Why that is where it ends
