This page lists the official government pension portal for 53 countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, North America and Latin America, with the digital credential each one needs. Most of those portals require a national digital identity (DigiD in the Netherlands, Government Gateway in the UK, myGov in Australia, Singpass in Singapore) that expats often cannot get or maintain from abroad. For the United States, no single register exists: pension records are spread across Social Security, employer-administered plans, and state-by-state unclaimed property systems, and we link to the most useful searches below. Where you can use the public route, use it. Where you can't, PensionHunter exists for that, within the 41 markets we operate in.
PensionHunter provides this directory for information only. We do not access, log into, or have any technical integration with the systems listed. Where official portals are free and you can access them, use them. We do not duplicate or replace them. Getting in tells you what that one system holds, which for a single working life in a single country may be the whole answer.

e-Devlet, SGK hizmet dokumu (service record)
SGK holds the contribution record for all three legacy funds (SSK, Bag-Kur, Emekli Sandigi) as statuses 4/a, 4/b and 4/c. The hizmet dokumu service record is read through e-Devlet. Turkish citizens abroad can obtain the e-Devlet password at embassies and consulates; foreign nationals can only obtain it at PTT offices inside Turkey, so their route is a written request to SGK. The BES private pension layer has its own account query on e-Devlet via EGM and Takasbank, and dormant BES money is forfeited to the Treasury after ten years unclaimed. Telephone: ALO 170.

Old-age savings (JHT) and pension (JP) records held by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Lapak Asik is not accessible from outside Indonesia, per BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's own official statement. Har HaKesef (government search for inactive accounts) and the Mislaka Pensionit (pension clearing house)
Har HaKesef is a free official search for inactive financial accounts, including pension and provident accounts, and requires no digital identity: the teudat zehut identity number and the date printed on the physical identity card are enough. The Mislaka Pensionit clearing house returns a consolidated all-providers pension report for 20 NIS. Interfaces are Hebrew only. Foreign workers have the separate passport-keyed pikadon deposit scheme, payable abroad within 30 business days of a departure claim. Bituach Leumi runs a line for people abroad on +972 8 9369669.

CONSAR, Localiza tu AFORE (AforeWeb)
Every worker has one AFORE individual retirement account supervised by CONSAR. The official Localiza tu AFORE service names the AFORE holding it, keyed to the NSS social security number or the CURP plus an email address, with an immediate response and no digital identity required. Non-digital route: SARTEL on 55 1328 5000, and SARTEL EUA on 1 844 582 4933. Mexican consulates in the United States run financial advice windows covering IMSS and AFORE and issue powers of attorney that need no apostille. Account rights are imprescriptible under LSS Article 302, but since the 2024 reform unclaimed balances of people aged 70 and over transfer to the Fondo de Pensiones para el Bienestar, with a refund mechanism.

Meu INSS and the CNIS contribution record
The CNIS is the master contribution record and carries statutory evidential force under Article 29-A of Lei 8.213. It is read through Meu INSS, which needs only a gov.br bronze account created online, keyed to the CPF. A CPF can be obtained from abroad through Receita Federal at cpf.residente.exterior@rfb.gov.br. Meu INSS carries a dedicated no-password service tab for international-agreement requests. Totalization agreements are in force with the United States (2018), Japan (2012) and Portugal (1995), alongside the Iberoamerican Convention. FGTS and PIS or PASEP are separate pots, including for heirs. Survivor pension arrears are retroactive only where the claim is filed within 90 days, or 180 days for children under 16. Closed funds supervised by PREVIC and PGBL or VGBL products have no per-person central lookup.

Superintendencia de Pensiones, consulta de afiliacion
A genuine central lookup: the Superintendencia de Pensiones affiliation consult names which of the seven AFPs holds an individual account under DL 3.500, keyed to the RUN plus name, email and telephone. ClaveUnica requires a valid cedula, and every Chilean consulate worldwide issues ClaveUnica and renews cedulas, so Chileans abroad stay inside the digital route; others use the written route, with the Superintendencia reachable from abroad on +56 2 27074260. Foreign technical workers may apply for a refund of contributions under Ley 18.156 via notarized power of attorney. Unclaimed AFP money never becomes the property of the AFP: balances pass to heirs, and the State takes only where no heirs exist. Ley 21.735 (2025) phases the employer contribution to 8.5 per cent by 2033.
