Building the world's pension identification infrastructure

Embed the free pension check

Sites for expats, migrants and the people who advise them can put our free check on any page with one line of code. Your readers choose the countries they worked in and the years, and we show them, for each of the 41 countries we cover, whether money was likely set aside in their name and why it is hard to reach from abroad, each with its source and the date we read it. There is no fee and the widget asks for no name and no email.

The snippet

<script src="https://pensionhunter.ai/embed.js" data-key="pk_widget_YOUR_KEY" async></script>

Replace pk_widget_YOUR_KEY with the widget key we send you. The script at https://pensionhunter.ai/embed.js is under 2 KB. It adds one frame right after the tag and sizes it to its content.

If we have given you a partner id, add it as data-partner, so we can see which orders started on your site:

<script src="https://pensionhunter.ai/embed.js" data-key="pk_widget_YOUR_KEY" data-partner="your-partner-id" async></script>

A partner id is a short code we issue, such as your-partner-id. An id we have not issued is ignored.

Live demo

This is the same frame your readers see. The demo here runs on our public connector, which returns the same answers.

How it works

The check runs in a frame on our own address, so it does not touch your page's scripts or styles, and your Content Security Policy needs no change beyond allowing a frame from pensionhunter.ai if you set frame-src.

A widget key is public by design: it sits in your page. It can call two tools only, list_covered_countries and check_work_history, and our server refuses anything else. Each key has a limit per site (20 checks a minute by default) and an overall limit (120 a minute by default). The per site limit reads the browser's Origin header, which a server can set to anything, so the tool limit and the overall limit are the ones that hold.

The result links back to our free checker with the chosen countries as codes and three tracking values, for example https://pensionhunter.ai/pension-checker?countries=GB,NL&utm_source=widget&utm_medium=embed&utm_content=your-site.example. The hostname of your site goes in utm_content; a page path never does.

Under a result for a country we research, the frame also links to our order page for those countries, with the same values and, when you have one, your partner id in utm_campaign, for example https://pensionhunter.ai/order?countries=GB,NL&utm_source=widget&utm_medium=embed&utm_campaign=your-partner-id&utm_content=your-site.example. Both links open in a new tab.

Terms of use

Does the widget cost anything?
No. There is no fee for the widget, for the site that embeds it or for the people who use it. Widget calls are never billed.
What must stay in place?
The attribution line "Free check by PensionHunter" and the link back to pensionhunter.ai stay visible and unchanged. Please do not hide, cover or restyle the frame to remove them.
Can a key be withdrawn?
Yes. We may revoke a widget key at any time, for example if it is used outside these terms or at a volume that affects other sites. The frame then shows a short notice instead of the check.
What data does the widget collect?
None that identifies a person. It asks for countries, years and, optionally, an employer name, never a person's name or an email address. We do not store the employer name. The links back to us carry country codes, the hostname of your site and, if you have one, your partner id, nothing else. The frame sets no cookies.
How do I get a key?
Email hello@pensionhunter.ai with your site's address and where the widget will appear. We issue widget keys by hand.

Get a widget key

Email hello@pensionhunter.ai with your site's address and the page where the check will appear. We reply with a key and the snippet ready to paste.

The check is identification and research only. We do not give advice, and the widget makes no promise about any person's pension.
