Cross-border pension identification for Form E financial disclosure

When a client has worked outside the United Kingdom, identifying every pension for the financial disclosure schedule is difficult. UK-facing tracing routes (the government Pension Tracing Service, UK provider searches) do not reach schemes held with overseas employers or administrators. PensionHunter identifies workplace and state pensions across the 41 countries we cover, so your client can list them on Form E.

  • ICO ZC113586
  • Companies House 13326151
  • Identification only
  • Fixed fee, refund if nothing material

The disclosure gap

Form E requires the party to disclose all pension entitlements. A career that included time in the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, the UAE, Australia or elsewhere will typically involve workplace or state pension entitlements that were never transferred to a UK scheme and cannot be surfaced through UK registries. Without a targeted cross-border search, those entitlements are easy to overlook.

What we do

  • Identify workplace pensions across the 41 countries we cover, using employer records, national registries and administrator contact routes.
  • Identify state pension entitlements where the country operates a formal state or public scheme.
  • Deliver a written report to the client listing what was identified, with the source used for each finding.
  • Operate under a signed Information Request Authority from the client for any direct provider contact.

What we do not do

  • We do not provide financial advice, pension advice, or investment advice.
  • We do not value pensions for financial-remedy purposes. Cash Equivalent values come from the administrator; actuarial valuation is a matter for a Pensions on Divorce Expert (PODE).
  • We do not act for either party in the proceedings and take no instructions in the litigation.
  • We do not contact the other party, their solicitors, or any third party outside the identification workflow.
  • We do not arrange pension transfers, manage pension funds, or assist with claiming or accessing pension funds.

How it works for a solicitor

  1. 1You mention PensionHunter to your client as one route for identifying overseas pension entitlements ahead of Form E.
  2. 2The client engages PensionHunter directly, in their own name, at the standard published fixed fees (Country Pension Identification Report, Search or Global). There is no separate account, contract or fee arrangement with the firm.
  3. 3The client receives the written identification report and shares it with you to inform the pensions section of the financial disclosure.

No fee is paid to your firm. There is no referral fee, no commission and no revenue share. This is an awareness page only, not a referral arrangement, and it does not engage the SRA rules on referral fees. The client is the customer, contracts with PensionHunter directly, and pays the standard published price.
