Find Your Lost UAE Pension and Gratuity

Millions of expats have worked in the UAE, in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across all seven Emirates, and left without claiming their full entitlements. End of service gratuity, DIFC and ADGM pension schemes, and private employer pension arrangements are frequently forgotten. The UAE does not operate a superannuation system; what expats leave behind is pension entitlement and gratuity.

What Is End of Service Gratuity?

End of service gratuity is a legal right for all workers in the UAE who complete at least one year of service. It is calculated based on your basic salary and length of employment. Many workers leave the UAE without claiming the full amount they are owed, especially those on short-term contracts or who left in a hurry.

DIFC and ADGM Pension Schemes

Workers in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) had mandatory pension contributions under the DEWS (Employee Workplace Savings) scheme from February 2020 onwards. Workers in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) have their own workplace pension arrangements. These contributions are often forgotten by workers who have moved on to other countries.

What We Search

We search DIFC Employee Workplace Savings (DEWS) scheme records, ADGM workplace pension schemes, private employer pension arrangements, end of service gratuity entitlements, and insurance company pension products. We also research GPSSA records where applicable for GCC nationals who worked in the UAE.

How to Start

Start your UAE pension search from $99 (Country Pension Identification Report) or $499 (Enhanced Pension Identification Report, expert-led follow-up). Full refund if we find nothing material. Full Pension Identification Report within five working days of your intake form. Pension providers and former employers typically take 4-12 weeks to respond, you send the requests and we answer your questions by email about whatever comes back, on your workplace and state pension alike, for as long as your case is open. Important: end of service gratuity is paid directly by your former employer under UAE labour law. We provide a research report so you can pursue your entitlements.
