Pension question, Iceland

Do I get an Icelandic state pension after a few years of work?

A few years on an Icelandic payroll leaves two separate things. Tryggingastofnun needs three calendar years of insurance in Iceland between 16 and 67 to open any entitlement, and 40 years for the full rate, with anything shorter paid in proportion to the residence period.
