Pension question, Belgium

Do Belgian pensioners abroad need a life certificate?

A Belgian pensioner living in a country with no electronic data-exchange agreement is sent a life certificate and must complete and return it within 30 days of receiving it. If the Federal Pensions Service does not receive the completed life certificate back within 30 days, it stops paying the pension.
