Authority answers scoreboard

We wrote the same six questions to the pension authority of each national system in our reachability study. This page shows, country by country, the institution we wrote to and when, whether it has replied and when, how many days the reply took where both dates are published, and which answers are published on /answers. Every figure here is read from the same records as the reachability study and the answers page when the site is built. We name institutions, never people.

This scoreboard is the view of the reachability study. Every country on our world map, with the ten questions we now put to each national pension institution and where each stands, is on the authority answers index, country by country.

22 authorities we wrote to have not replied yet. 10 have replied but have no answer published on /answers. A reply is not always an answer: some acknowledged our letter, routed the questions to another body or declined, and some answers wait until publication is cleared, because an institution that asks to see its entry first is not published until it has. Where both dates are published, the quickest reply took 2 days and the slowest 32 days.

How this table is built

  • The institution, the date we wrote, the status and the date of the reply are the same values the reachability table shows for each system.
  • The answers column lists every answer /answers publishes for that country, from whichever institution gave it, with the date the entry carries. Some answers came from a different institution in the same country, or from earlier correspondence.
  • Time to reply counts calendar days from the date we wrote to the date of the reply. We compute it only where both dates are published on the row and the reply answered this correspondence. A reply to earlier correspondence is shown, not timed.
  • Any institution may correct its row through the right of reply. A correction is published in full, with the source and the date.
  • What changed on the site each month, including answers published, is on the monthly data changes page.
