Steps

1. Country Pension Identification Report (identification): 24 to 48 hours

Identification work uses public registers, dossier-verified routes, and our employer-to-provider mapping. We deliver the Pension Identification Report within 24 to 48 hours.

2. Enhanced Pension Identification Report (deeper, single-country): typically 2-8 weeks

Once a scheme is identified, the administrator's response time governs the clock. UK administrators commonly respond in 4-6 weeks; some are faster, some slower.

3. Global (multi-country): governed by the slowest jurisdiction

When the work covers multiple countries, the timeline is set by the slowest request route, typically IE, ZA, or CA where there is no central register.

Frequently asked questions

Why does it depend on country?

Identification routes differ. In the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Australia a public register can name the fund or administrator quickly. In Ireland the route is request only, and in Norway and Swedish occupational schemes no employer to fund link exists, so the work is slower per scheme or moves to the portal you can use yourself.

What happens if a scheme doesn't respond?

We follow up. Regulated administrators have statutory duties to respond to member requests; persistent non-response is escalated to the country's pensions ombudsman.

Can I speed it up?

Providing complete employer history (name, country, dates) at the outset is the single biggest accelerator. Missing periods are the most common reason for follow-up cycles.
