Pension question, Luxembourg
How do I apply for a Luxembourg pension?
A Luxembourg old-age pension is never awarded automatically: it must be applied for, and the application is submitted between 2 and 6 months before the intended pension start date (at least 6 months if there is a foreign career). Nothing is automatic: CNAP states that the award of a pension is not automatic and an application is required, and non residents normally lodge it in the country where they live.
