Pension question, Hong Kong
Can I withdraw my MPF after leaving Hong Kong?
A scheme member may withdraw MPF early on the ground of permanent departure from Hong Kong by making a statutory declaration that they have left or will leave Hong Kong with no intention of returning for employment or to resettle as a permanent resident, plus proof of permission to reside outside Hong Kong. Permanent departure is a once-ever door: the MPFA states that members who have previously withdrawn on that ground will not be paid MPF again for all subsequent applications on the same grounds with a later departure date.
